My work space revamped!
I think this is much, much more better than my old work space. What do you think, guys? Used to have my books arranged in a row on the table, now I divided them into two sections so I have more center space for the laptop. At the right side, I have stacked some of my old and current planners too. The current planner I have is actually a DIY. I shall blog about that very soon. The calendar was sorta divided into two, too. I just kinda felt like having more center spaces. I have this cut-out piece from a magazine. It says PIT STOP. It’s there to remind me of when I finally need to take a break or when I’m stressed out with something. Oh, and I finally thought of something for that pink board!! It used to be a mirror and I just added a pink gift wrapper to make a board. If you saw my old posts about my study area, you’ll notice how empty that pink board was, but here it is now! Ta-da! It functions as a paper holder, btw. I made three compartments for it. One for the stickers (top), for papers (middle), and for envelopes (bottom). Everything in this board is pretty much recycled. From the post-its and other papers.
I very rarely post selfies on my blog. I would usually have them posted on my other social media accounts. So please excuse my face on your dashboards. XD Uh… I can trust you with these selfies, right? Hahaha! Have a good rainy night, folks! :)
Try before you buy
The sample room’s tagline got me ever since I came across the site from Joanne’s blog. They have this “try before you buy" concept that I found really clever and convenient because, really, who wouldn’t want to try the products first before buying them, right?
Sample room is basically a sampling site that incorporates a points system, which is what makes it different from all the other beauty boxes out there. You’re given 100 points upon registration which you could then use to order for samples you might want to try. And tell you what, the samples are for FREE! Yes, you
heard read it right! It is FREE! However, as much as sample room wants to cater everything to make it more convenient for you, they can only have the items free but not the shipping fee. In other words, you shoulder your own shipping fee. You then try the samples out and see if it works for you and then you can write a review on their page. Once your review has been approved, you get the points back to your account and could use it again to order for another sample! What a clever way to not waste money on a product that might not work for you!
Anyway, I have just used all my points from my registration and opted to order the (1) Himalaya Herbals Neem Face Pack and (2) the Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate. I deposited an amount of 140 Php (provincial rate) in their bank account for the shipping fee and they immediately had my order processed. The package took only 3 days to arrive. Can we just take a moment to notice and appreciate how their packaging looks super cute, minimalistic, and vintage-ish all at the same time? I just love it! Can’t wait to try the samples out. Will definitely post the review here, too!

Mini Stationery Haul
Please tell me I’m not the only one who goes crazy about stationery sets, colored pens, and notebooks! I’m a sucker for these things, seriously! Been collecting stationery since elementary. Even had the Sanrio stationery set before. Ahh, good old days. How I wish I could have my collection back. A lot has been misplaced, and were lost when we moved houses way back in 2012. Anyway, finally got to buy some stuff to add to my collection again! Here are the things I bought the other day…
Read on for more photos. :)
Just another food blog post
Yesterday, my mom randomly decided on dining out. Oh, joy! We went to this native restaurant called Golden Cowrie. Aaaah, loved their Baked Scallops and Sizzling Grilled Bangus! Not to mention the Maja Blanca! I think I ate too much that I couldn’t even get myself to stand after eating. Hashtag gluttony. Haha! Strolled around the mall after that. People who knows me very well will know where I go every time I visit the mall — to the stationery section, I go! Went to Expressions, National Book Store, and the department store’s school supplies section. I ended up buying lots of paper sets, notebooks, and colored pens! I can’t help it, okay? I get attracted to these kind of things more than fashionable things. Another guilty pleasure revealed! I shall blog about this haul very soon!
For now, have more of these food photos I took from the resto, plus more photos from yesterday’s day out. Just read on :)
I usually reply privately so feel free to talk to me :) you can also email me at email@example.com for other queries and concerns. But if you came here to hate on me, please read THIS, thank you. :)
